Easy shrimp tacos are often served in corn tortillas, however for some reason personally I like also very much with flour tortilla which is I will prepare them now. For this shrimp tacos recipe you will need a cup or a little more depending on the tastes of salsa pico de gallo whose recipe we have published in this link.

In these days of holiday We'd like to try something different from all the exquisite dishes we tend to eat as the Turkey, the romeritos or cod fish. That's why I decided to do some very simple with this easy shrimp tacos recipe.

Easy Shrimp Tacos Recipe

Ingredients:
400g of shrimp, a sweet red pepper, onion, serrano or jalapeno Chili, a tablespoon of olive oil, two tablespoons of vegetable oil and a cup of pico de gallo.

Directions:

Cook whole shrimp 15 minutes in boiling water. Remove from water, drain, cut off the head and peel them. Set aside.

Finely chop the onion as well as the red pepper and chili. First fry the onion in a frying pan heat the tablespoon of olive oil. After about three minutes add the peppers and chili. Stir them and leave them in the low fire for three minutes. Finally we add the shrimp, stir everything, season with salt and leave two or three minutes until shrimp are lightly browned.

Meanwhile prepare pico de gallo sauce as we did in this recipe.

Now heat the tortillas in a pan with a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil.

We now join the tacos by placing a couple of tablespoons of salsa, shrimp and bell pepper mixture over each hot tortilla. We finished with a little sour cream, dry parsley or cilantro.

I recommend you serve these easy shrimp tacos freshly made accompanied with a few black beans and of course a cold beer.
